National Parks, WY

Nearly 50% of Wyoming is owned by the federal government. Learning this new piece of information, I wondered, who can be a Republican after visiting Wyoming? Big government can't be all that bad if a small portion of our landscape still looks and feels like a sepia-tinted photograph.

Five anchors because The Grand Tetons and Yellowstone only covers a small portion of the state. I'll say this much, though, if the rest of Wyoming looks like its national parks my inner misanthrope (which kindly manifests itself every month) may inter itself here. Wyoming one of the least populated states in the U.S.
