The best practical thing about living in a city is not having to worry about designated drivers. The worst (okay, not THE worst), is that you wake up craving chlorophyll in every which way and form because you didn't drink enough water before spinning towards sleep. New Cannan's residents have it got it good. Living an hour away from New York City by train, they can get sloshed in the city, then recuperate with a green smoothie on their green lawn the following morning. Though those days might be a hazy memory when most move here to settle down.
